About Sports Career Insights
Erin Braddock is the founder and CEO of Sports Career Insights. A self-described go-getter, Erin found her early journey working in sports challenging to navigate and full of uncertainty despite her tenacity. Her persistence finally paid off when she landed her ideal job in sports she never knew existed; working in Corporate Partnerships for the Orlando Magic.
After a nearly 8-year stint, Erin decided to pursue another passion by helping educate and develop future sports leaders at the collegiate level. Through her time as both a sports executive as well as an adjunct professor and career coach at the University of Florida, Erin has encountered numerous job seekers and students alike who are also unfamiliar with the true scope of opportunities available within the sports industry.
Through Sports Career Insights, Erin hopes to help students identify their ideal job in sports and therefore allow them to be more strategic and efficient in achieving their goals. Core classes, elective classes, networking, internships, etc. can all be accomplished more strategically when a student has their end career goal in mind.
Erin is a graduate of Southern Illinois University in Carbondale and has her Master's Degree in Sports Administration and Facility Management from Ohio University. She resides in the Orlando area with her husband, Andy, and two sons.
